Dear IPA Community,
We are pleased to announce that the deadline for submitting proposals to the panels of the 14th Interpretive Policy Analysis Conference (IPA2026BR) has been extended until 29 June 2026!
IPA2026BR will take place from 9–11 November 2026 in Brasília, Brazil. The conference is hosted by the University of Brasília (UnB), through the Department of Public Policy Management (GPP/FACE/UnB) and the Graduate Program in Development, Society and International Cooperation (PPGDSCI/CEAM/UnB).
This will be the first event in the IPA series to be held in the Global South under local leadership. It will be organized in coordination with two sister conferences—one in Australia (IPA2026AU) and another in Hungary (IPA2026EU)—forming an innovative and more sustainable model for global exchange through interconnected macro-regional events.
The conference open panels have been designed by experienced national and international scholars working in the fields of critical and interpretive policy studies. We invite you to visit the conference website to explore the panel themes and submit your proposal in the form of an extended abstract (up to 500 words) in English, Portuguese, or Spanish.
IPA2026BR adopts a multilingual policy aimed at broadening the diversity of voices, fostering greater academic inclusion, and strengthening the participation of scholars, students, and practitioners from different countries, particularly across Latin America and other regions of the Global South.
