Interpretivists do Interpretive Methods Series

Samantha Majic (John Jay College and the CUNY Graduate Center) will discuss her work with all kinds of populations: vulnerable populations, celebrities, but also researchers’ vulnerabilities too. Professor Majic’s research lies in gender and American politics, with specific interests in sex work, wellness politics, celebrity and politics, and civic engagement. Her most recent book, Lights, Camera, Feminism? Celebrities and Anti-Trafficking Politics came out with the University of California Press in May 2023.

This talk will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM (Eastern Time), via Zoom.
